Yes.

Truthfully, I’m scrolling through former posts to see if I can salvage any of them to repost.

My latest book is in its final stages and words are beyond me right now, yet I want to post something for the Thanksgiving holiday.

So, I think, I’ll just post a ‘happy holiday – let’s all be grateful’ message and be on my way.

But, I’m being pressed to write something – anything really.

So here goes.

Lately, life has been chaotic for everyone.

The clients who come into my consulting room have recently experienced extreme life circumstances.

Truly.

There are legal issues, separation complexities, illness and even death of loved ones.

It seems this is a time fraught with peril.

Beyond personal lives, clients are asking me about the North Korea situation, the sanity of the President and the state of the economy.

It’s not too out of the realm when clients ask me these types of things. I’m a strategist, an intuitive one at that, so I should have answers to these big questions.

Ironically, as I review my former posts, the one that sticks out the most is the one where I say how beneficial it is to be clueless.

Yes, to be clueless.

In other words, to have an open mind.

To say, “I don’t know.”

To wonder.

You see, when you wonder, you have the ability to welcome any new information, mull this newness and perhaps interweave it into your life.

You have the ability to be vulnerable, open and free to say, “Yes.”

“Yes,” I will home school my daughter in her sophomore year of high school a friend recently decides.

“Yes,” I will keep my heart open to new and deep intimacy even though my husband has just asked for a divorce a client expresses this year.

“Yes,” I will continue to live a life full of love and joy even though I found my husband passed away in our garage the other month.

Yes, yes, yes.

A life lived with an open mind allows you to say “Yes” to it.

A life lived with an “I don’t know” attitude welcomes a fresh and different outlook.

A life lived in wonder allows you to be open to express love and joy for all of its facets.

So, say “Yes” to life.

Yes, I sense my children need….

Yes, I would be happy to pursue…

Yes, I know my heart is yearning for….

This holiday season as you’re cooking your Thanksgiving dinner, of course, be grateful for all of life’s blessings.

Yet as you sit around the dining room table looking at all of your loved one’s faces, ask yourself; “How can I say yes?”

“What do I need to say yes to right now?”

“How do I want to say yes today?”

Allow yourself to wonder.

Allow yourself to be open.

Allow yourself to lean in.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

Say “Yes” to life – fully and completely.

As always, wishing you joy,

Kim
